Approach for adding new creatures to Skyrim

Hi all...

I'm working on a new medium sized creature mod for oldrim (40 creatures and counting). I want to have a similar spawning system as vanilla skyrim to have at least some degree of immersion.

Meaning, some creatures you'll only meet in tombs, forest or mountains. Some you only meet after level 40, or after dark and so on.

I've understood that editing the skyrim leveled lists might lead to conflicts with other mods. I don't wan't that to happen.

What exactly do I need to do? Make duplicats of vanilla Lchar lists and then new spawnpoints for my lists only?

Can I skip new spawnpoints and rest assure that people will make a bashed patch with wrye bash and merge my new lchar lists with skyrims vanilla lists. Or have I completely misunderstood everything?

Time to bump this now.

With a gameplay with two or more creature adding mods,

what is best to do?

1) Make duplicats of vanilla Skyrim Lchar lists , give them new form IDs, empty them of vanilla creatures,  and put ONLY my creatures in here,

or

2) Make "copy as override into" of the vanilla Skyrim Lchar lists into my mod, then add my creatures where they seem fit, and keeping skyrim vanilla creature in the lists.

In which scenario will Wrye Bash do it's best job so that every creature spawn, vanilla or not, will be kept?
