Cyndi Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Alternate Title: FUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu CK. So.... I started learning how to; and making, new static collision objects. and I ran into a problem with a new mesh, for an interior architecture part. (I'm attempting to make myself a redoran indoor pool / jacuzzi /hot tub or w/e...... let's face it, ashy dirty raven rock is ashy and dirty) When I load the new mesh in, I get the error: blahblahIhazNoEnvironmentmapjumpoffabridgeyounub. So in typical ck fashion I hit ignore, everything proceeds as normal... but now in the render window it shows absolutely nothing, except the ground. I know it loaded the .nif because hitting F4 allows me to see the wireframe of my new shnazyjazy collision shape (which I just learned how to make after a day and a half of swearing/smoking/drinking coffee) ref pic: Pic of the .nif itself if that's at all relevant: Sooo yeah.... any idea's on what's going wrong? the .nif in question....: *Glares at .nif file* RedoranBathAreaCap.7z ... And I have made another item before that seems to work, but it was classed as a clutter item I think... but that one worked fine. Edit: ...... If its because I didn't unpack the textures from the dragonborn.bsa folder into my skyrim one.... I might pull my hair out and /facedesk a lot.
Vioxsis Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 In the BSLightingShaderProperty, shader flags 1 you need to remove the skinned flag. not sure if there is any thing else wrong.
Cyndi Posted February 18, 2013 Author Posted February 18, 2013 \o/ YAY worked. Tyvm! and now that I think about it... I'm guessing that flag was the problem because the mesh doesn't have a regular skin like an armor model? Now off to test if my collision worked properly =P Edit: Yup everything works great except something I did to weapon impact data, chunk merge seems to miss that on me with a few sky_hav_mat_blah things (which I knew was going to happen anyway and is kinda redundant for the intended purpose). I think it just gets mad when I tell it where to look for the xml or something. It absorbs arrows if you shoot it, but still holds objects/dropped stuff/people. *shrugs* Does it's intended purpose that's all I care about. Hey look! A Tangent! *runs off*
