question about patching armor with bodyslide for custom race

Hi everyone,

 

I just made a patch for an armor for the femboy race, but now I need to rescale with bodislide the armor pieces in my patch esp (which I already enabled in vortex).

 

I run bodyslide via vortex, can select the body reference fine, and I can select armor pieces files in the data/mesh folder.

 

Though now I don't know if I actually am modifying the original mod's files, or the patch files. If I modify these files and upload my patch, will other users have the modified files ? if not, where can I find them ?
