Even if it was a marijuana leaf, what could they do? It's not a crime to have one on your car. If they pulled me over, I'd tell them to go fuck themselves. If they kept it up, I'd get out my phone and start recording.

Even if it had been some random sticker that someone put on while the car was parked, I would have (if they were confrontational or rude) refused to remove it.

 

If the goverment wasn't trying so hard to keep gas prices high, I'd be tempted to get together a group of folks to put actual marijuna leaf stickers and drive around that area.

 

What's the worst that could happen anyway ? At worst you spend a night in jail, then lawyers beat down your doors wanting a cut of the lawsuit money.

Well assuming we're on the same page with this hypothetical being based off of the news story in my OP, it would have likely been based off of something like refusing to follow police instructions or some other trumped up charge.
