Load order

Vortex is always asking about "before" and "after" for AAF (and a lot of other things)  I am never real sure how to answer that.

What would be the rule?   For instance, mods that call on AAF, would that be before or after AAF?  And mods that have animation

that AAF would call on, would that be before or after?

Sorry for a dumb question but sometimes my animations do not play so I am trying to trouble shoot everything.
