I got Nisa's Wicked Perversions for Wicked Whims, but it doesn't work?

I got all the required add-ons it told me about.. Basemental drugs and the nail mod, but still it doesn't work.

I originally had this problem and figured out it was because I placed it in the "Wicked Whims" pack, so I took it out and It worked a little better.

I extracted the files with WinRAR, but it still doesn't work. I redownloaded the mod, but it still doesn't work

I'm still not able to use the "YAM browser", the nail polish, The escort, etc.

I put my lot trait as "Escort Call Center", but still no "YAM browser" shows up on my PC. I thought it was maybe just my computer, so I replaced it, but it still doesn't work. The Basemental drugs mod works just fine, so is it just a problem with the mod itself, or have I done something wrong?

Do you play the Legacy Edition of the game? In other words: Can you access the game's online features (like the gallery, where you donwload Sims and stuff)? If you're playing Legacy, Wicked Pervs will not work properly (same for BMD btw).

Now, I'm a little bit confused about your description of how your mods are installed. This is probably because I'm too stupid to imagine the File Explorer window you are describing - I'm the kind of guy that likes screenshots. Still, this it what your Mods folder should be like (no screenshot here because my Mods folder isn't a good example):

Within "Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods" you have three folders

"WickedWhimsMod"

"Basemental-Drugs"

"NisaWickedPerversions"

These three folders are created by simply extracting the .zip or .rar files you downloaded. You put them into the Mods folder and make sure that there are no subfolders within them (so no "Mods/WickedWhimsMod/animations", for example), because the game doesn't look there.

Once you have done that (and maybe added translations for the mods), you need to have mods enabled in-game. To do that, check both the options for "mods and custom content" and "script mods" - the latter one is needed for mod gameplay to function properly. If the game prompts you to restart, close it and launch it again.

Everything should work now, so load any household you like and interact with a computer to use "Tam explorer". Since there are quite a few interactions for computers, it might not show up in the first selection, but it will be there - even has a nice artichoke (no clue, how that thing is spelled) icon.

I tried to disable Legacy Edition but it won't let me, it says that it's required for players on older operating systems and hardware.

And with my folders, they're organized like you said. I also have script mods and custom content enabled, the only thing is that I cannot disable Legacy, the sims won't start up unless it's legacy edition.

Do you know if there's still a way for me to use Wicked Perversions?

Unfortunately, the answer is "no" - unless you get yourself a new computer/OS than can run non-Legacy TS4. It's a problem many people have experienced recently.

You should also remove Basemental Drugs, as it doesn't function properly with Legacy Edition. Trouble is, mods like BMD or Wicked Pervs can work or at least look like they do, but you will always reach the point where something goes wrong (Tam Explorer not showing up, game crashes,...). If any mod requires a game version of 1.60 and higher, it won't work with Legacy. On the bright side, some mods are still fine (like WW) or provide a "final" release for Legacy (like MC Command Center).

Wicked Pervs requires Basemental Drugs - if BMD is not installed, Wicked Pervs will not work.

Also, keep both BMD and Wicked Pervs up to date, as outdated mods can cause trouble.

Finally, if you're playing TS4 Legacy Edition, you can't use Wicked Pervs and BMD, unfortunately.

If all of the above is not the reason for your issue, try launching the game with only WickedWhims, Basemental Drugs and Wicked Perversions in your Mods folder. Remember to delete "localthumbcache.package" found in "Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4".

While I cannot know for sure, I'd say it's rather unlikely - at least in the near future.

I don't know how much of a difference Legacy makes when it comes to mods, but apparently there is some major difference between Legacy and "regular" TS4, given all the mods that don't support Legacy. For Wicked Pervs, even if NisaK decided to make it Legacy-compatible, one would still require a Legacy-compatible version of Basemental Drugs, as that mod also doesn't support Legacy right now.

It's not entirely impossible that it will happen one day, but as long as BMD doesn't work with Legacy, I wouldn't get my hopes up here.

I have a slightly different issue with NWP. I can access the gallery and online but am running 64 bit sims 4 so not legacy, BMD works fine but everytime I try to use NWP my wall gets filled up with last exception constantly. It used to work, all my versions are updated and features of NWP are there but cannot play due to the constant last exception messages. I don't use any other mods except clothing, hair and make up packages and some furniture. lastException.txt

WickedWhims_v153d_Exception.txt Nisas_Last_Exception.txt

Try running the game without these other mods anyway (and remember to delete "localthumbcache.package" found in "Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4"). Especially build mode stuff like furniture can sometimes cause issues.

This is usually the type of behavior seen after a game patch (with the patch being the actual culprit, as it broke some mod). Have you updated the game yesterday/today (or did Origin force an update)?

In any case, make sure that the game itself and all of your script mods (WW, Wicked Pervs, Basemental Drugs, MC Command Center, whatever else you have) are up-to date. And always delete "localthumbcache.package", found in "Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4", after making major changes to your Mods folder.

Also, is there any orange notification in-game about some error or a "lastException"? If so, there should be a "lastException.txt" file in the same folder as "localthumbcache", which might be able to provide more details about why your game breaks. Other details, like when exactly the issue happens (game starts, some interaction, after some time was spent in-game,...) could also help with finding the reason for this problem.

Hi, ive been having a problem recently with this mod, some of the traits disappear and it only shows the icon of the bunny and says custom trait" it not only afects the mod traits but also some game trais. Does anyone knows how to fix it ? (i have the latest version)

I vaguely remember that some patch, a while ago, changed something about the trait system. That broke custom traits and they had to be redone, with the "old/broken" ones needing to be replaced by the "new/fixed" ones.

Removing the traits manually, then adding them again should do the trick. If it doesn't, you may need to save once after removing the old traits and restart the game, before adding the new ones. Also delete "localthumbcache.package", found in "Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4", just to be safe.

If all else fails, remove Wicked Pervs from your Mods folder temporarily (don't forget to delete "localthumbcache" again), start the game and check whether the other traits now work. If they do (they should), save and exit the game, then add Wicked Pervs back into Mods (and, as you have probably guessed, delete "localthumbcache" once more). You'll lose data related to Wicked Pervs (prostitution, slave Sims etc), so make a backup copy of your save files first.

The Tam Explorer is part of the "script part" of the mod, so make sure that

 1) you are running the latest version of the game and all mods,

 2) the .ts4script file is no more than one level of subfolders deep within Mods (i.e. put the mod files either directly into Mods or - better - into a folder like "Mods/WickedPervs"), and

 3) you are not running TS4 Legacy Edition (AFAIK, there's no Legacy version of Wicked Pervs).

If it still doesn't work after checking the above points, try running the game with only WickedWhims, Basemental Drugs and Wicked Pervs (plus MC Command Center, if you use it).

Also remember to delete "localthumbcache.package", found in "Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4", whenever you make any changes to your Mods folder or update/repair the game.

Greetings, I have an issue with WP. It works, I see the traits , tattoos and nail polish, but the prostitution system is nowhere to be found, I can access it or the Tam explored arn Im not sure what to do or how it happened.

Sounds like the mod files are buried too deep within subfolders and the .ts4script file isn't loaded properly as a result. Make sure that script mods are no more than one level of subfolders deep within Mods, i.e. something like "Mods/NisasWickedPerversions", and not something like "Mods/Sex/NisasWickedPerversions".
