Setting frequent autonomous sex to avoid unattractive sims? Going for highly selective infidelity.

I'm looking for a way for my sims to have frequent autonomous sex with only those sims they find attractive to extremely attractive.

 

I've edited attractiveness preferences for all female sims to look for a small set of specific qualities in male sims, and edited only select male sims to have those qualities. Vice versa for male sim preferences, editing select female sims.  This part has worked. The select M/F sims show up as very/extremely attractive to all opposite sex sims, while all other sims show up as basic to very unattractive.  To simplify, I've limited it to hetero only, since the attractiveness preference selection can't separate what traits sims prefer in M vs F.

The problem lies in the frequent sex part of the equation. Setting Wicked Whims settings to be more selective, these sims are a bit more selective of who they flirt with/proposition, but the autonomy frequency tends to be pretty low. Ramping up the frequency with various settings, there's a lot of autonomous sex, but sims tend to boink even the ugliest sim in the room. I've given all attractive sims the horny, poly, alluring & great kisser traits as well, and given no unattractive sims these traits.

I don't want to make all unattractive sims celibate or establish strong romantic relationships between all attractive sims to make this happen. Defeats the purpose of the cheating theme I'm going for here.

Has anyone found another mod or specific trick to make this work? I've dug deep into the autonomous settings in different combinations and I'm still not coming up with a satisfactory way to make this happen.

I don't know if it REALLY works, but I downloaded some cheat utilities to quickly set relations between sims I want to manipulate interactions for\with.

 

Husband\wife gets -50 romantic relationship

Alpha\wife gets +50 or more

 

Then set romantic interaction to lead to sex quite high and random sex low.

Thanks. I'll give it a try, though I'd prefer to keep the husband & wife at high romance if possible & avoid high romance with the sims she's cheating with. I'm cool with her screwing hub as long as she's cheating with the right sims, too. I just want her and the other ladies in town to stop screwing the 5' 4" 120 lb lawn boy & every other random sim with a dick. Who knows. Maybe he really knows how to trim a bush.

What mod/utilities did you download? Is there actually something that sets a sim to be Alpha or was that just your description?

You could always try setting attraction settings for the types of Sims you'd prefer she cheat with. Skin tone is a super nice filter for instance, but probably not too powerful on it's own. 

Just find an archetype of the Sim you'd like her to be with and set it to perfect attraction (quick generator by target sim). 

 

Unfortunately, setting up complex cheating systems that happen automatically seem a bit difficult. We can't exactly define sex vs relationships as easily as might be prudent.

 

I actually use +50 friendship and -50 romance for wife\husband, but have them share some common interests. Female sims have +0 friendship and +50 romance with bulls. My female sims are usually flirters and romantics, along with the bulls. With my setup (with attraction manipulation), hubby goes fapping alone most of the time while not really having much sex with the wife, while wife often automatically initiates sex with bulls. I might consider adding condoms the the wife's inventory and not just the hubby

 

I also think there might an option to add "points" to 2 sims when the code tries to create a sex pair based on the relationship. So even though hubby might be really unattractive, you could boost wickedwhims points for the said pair (wife\hubby) because they are married, ensuring that hubby gets at least some action.

 

I hope you figure out a solution, the best I've got is above

Thanks for the link & info! I'll look into the UI Cheats mod. As described in my original post, I already have attractiveness set extremely well, so that only the sims I want cheating and those they're cheating with are ranked as Extremely Attractive to each other, with all other sims ranked as basic looking or worse. As cool as the Attractiveness system is, it doesn't seem to make any difference in how much a sim flirts or propositions another sim, or really affect their interactions in any way. Other than the pop-up window stating that a sim has found another sim the ideal physical specimen, the attractiveness system doesn't seem to do much of anything. It's all just text (the pop-ups + text on how a sim physically rates another sim in the relationship menu), with no function beyond that.

I wish the attractiveness system had real functions in flirting/sex interactions. But I can't complain too much, since Turbodriver has made such a robust, fantastic mod with so many features basically for free, other than patreon support. There's only so much one modder can do.

I may be able to do what I want with traits. Looks like the latest April 1 (unless it's a joke) WW has changed the Polyamorous trait not to cheat, where sims now only autonomously cheat when they have the Player or Noncommital trait. To make it function as I want though, I'll have to create romantic relationships for all sims I don't want cheating, which I'm not too keen to do. It'll mean giving that scrawny teen lawnmower sim a girlfriend so he stops poking the wife next-door with his three-incher. Same with basically every other single male in town I don't want her boinking.

FWIW, I've found skintone not to be too effective in attractiveness, as it doesn't recognize many custom skin-tones or sets them in the wrong category, and since most of Maxis' non-european skin-tones look like shit, I mainly use custom skins. Muscle-tone, Butt-size & other physique indicators tend to be much more effective, as they're always taken from the actual body shape as made in CAS. Plus making sure irrelevant/inaccurate preferences like clothing are unchecked. CC generally doesn't work very well with the attractiveness WW feature & most of us are using clothing CC as well as CC skins, hairstyles & facial features.
