HQ Mod - is it worth it?

HQ mod has been around for quite some time and I never delved into it at all. I did not know that Cmar made a conversion program for your custom content and it looks like it works great. Here's the problem, if you have massive CC like I do is it worth the time it would take to convert non HQ CC? Even with a powerhouse gaming rig I'm looking at days of time spent converting. So my question is will you see that much of a visual difference? Any feedback is much appreciated and thanks.

Well, in CAS difference is HUGE. Ingame it less noticable - I assume it possible to make very good results with properly lights settings - but still makes a difference:

HQ automatic converter does it's job as intended, though results may look not very good, but it mainly question to cc creators why they didn't bother with HQ compatibility (which is not hard and doesnt force user to use HQ), but from my experience with cc searching all really quality content has HQ compatibility. Main problem atm that WW is not HQ compatible and it's not so easy to do patch manually (converter corrupts _tuning package because that package made not in normal way in s4s).

Your pics didn't load, I'm assuming that a lot of creators might have been using older PCs and laptops that didn't support 64 bit but now that Sims has progressed and went 64 bit fully and leaving people with a legacy option that's there wasn't much HQ? I was under the impression that you only did clothes, accessories, makeup and hair? Do you have to convert furniture and objects as well as scipt mods too?

No, only sims-related content need to be converted (skins, clothes. etc.).

So when you mentioned that WW wasn't compatible did you mean the WW penis?

I meant WW vanilla skin overrides that prevent black penis bug.

Everything is OK for me, they are hosted on postimage which shouldnt block ll like imgur.
