Explain to me the differences in body mods?

I know of...; CBBE, CBBE v3, CBBEv3M, MAnga Body, CHSBHC, EBBP TBBP BBP the list goes on... i know some are older and less supported now than others...could someone explain to me which are the latest and greatest?

 

The TBBP variations seem like the new popular thing (though i feel unp/unpb and CBBE are still the most widely supported) I want to keep up with the times you know?

 

I liked the CHSBHC body, but its lack of support was underwhelming and it seems you can get close to (and much better looking) well endowed characters with other body types now.

TBBP is an animation system as is primarily added to CBBE, Adec and UNP/B, CHS was a derived variation of CBBv2 and has since become incompatible with CCBEv3 Textures. UNPB is the most detailed Mesh, CBBEv3 With bodyslide allows a ridiculous amount of customization, adec is really only supported by the bodies creator so custom armors are unfortanetly few and far between.

lady body by krista, which is in kind of a extreme in my mind and goes a little to far in editing of the base game, if i remember right it even disables the beast races, that being said it has a few pretty custom armors.

 

unp also has bodyslide.

 

but in terms of latest and greatest

 

its either cbbe tbbp bodyslide

or unp tbbp bodyslide

 

tweak either to your personal pref

best texture for chsbhc? i wanna play around with it but none of the textures i find are compatable.

I use CBBE because I don't really like UNP or UNPB at all anymore, mainly because the boobs are not big enough unless you stay in the 80-100% range, which leaves you with little choice and a lot of seam problems unlike CBBE.

 

I am growing fond of CHSBHC and managed to find a feet/hand fix for it on this site and some really good armor conversions, also the Navetsea skin (cbbe version) works great on it combined with ethereal elven overhaul which amazingly has no neck seam.

 

In all honesty I think the CHSBHC body is the best body out there but there isn't much support for it. Right now I just use CBBE modified with bodyslide and sometimes switching to CHSBHC . I wish I could find a way to mimic the CHSBHC body with CBBE bodyslide :/.

I personally use CBBEv3MX it's sub body that changes something, but it's mostly CBBEv3. It great for customization, and there's a lot of armor for it to.  I also installed CHSBHC first then i installed CBBEv3, and now most if not all CHSBHC armors work for me as well.

Never heard of that version of CBBE...

CBBEv3MX is I believe a preset in bodyslide to make the Mak shape of CBBE.

As for compatibility with CHSBHC textures just get textures that are made for CBBEv2 since that is all CHSBHC is.

One I see skipped over a lot is ADEC.  I'd put it inbetween CBBE and CSHBHC, and is very close to the HGEC body in Oblivion if you used and liked that.  It supports TBBP and has quite a few custom and remodeled armors.
