RegioTx Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 I've been playing the game in a 2 year old DELL laptop without any issues, today I finally got time to install the game in a brand new ASUS TUF Gaming laptop, I checked the game before installing any mods and worked just fine with much better video but, after I installed everything need it to play with mods now the game is lagging like crazy! I check my setting for gaming and it says that the laptop AMD Ryzen 5 3550H with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx does not meet the minimum requirements to play the game. Like I said, the game was working just fine when I first installed it but after I try to run it with mods is lagging, and now even without mods still lagging. I've seen other posts were people complain about lagging but I was not expecting this on a new gaming laptop. Any advice? Thanks.

I also have oldrim with almost 220 mods and running in a Asus TUF gaming laptop, check if your laptop has NVIDIA Optimus technology, if so, just open NVIDIA Control Panel and force Skyrim to use only the dedicated graphic card. Maybe Skyrim is trying to use your integrated graphics?
Scherzando Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 I would suggest that to check the frames of the game are rendered by your laptop's graphic card. For power saving reason, it is very common that some games will be rendered by CPU instead of GPU by default.
DaveDavidKoDieSel Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 i think GTX 1050 should do very well
