Pip-Boy Queston

As I am sure others have encountered this issue I am hoping someone will be able to point me to the offending mod and/or a solution. After a violent sexual encounter in the wasteland and I am free to run away, my pip-boy won't open. Tap on Tab and nothing happens.  My last test I ran away with my hands bound behind me (Real Handcuffs) and the same thing happened. Usually there is a pop up with some options to free myself from the cuffs but not this last time.

 

I play with AAF Violate and Combat Surrender and Abductions (CSA) with integration with Real Handcuffs. I had Devious Devices but as with Skyrim, it just pisses me off being bound up and no way possible to free myself. Wasting my time just sitting here watching her walk around among the Raiders with nothing happening is boring as hell. So I removed it and turned off integration in the mods mentioned above.

 

Now, before I did that everything seemed to work fine. I was abducted a couple of times. No issue with the pip-boy not opening. Now...now I can't open the pip-boy after a scene. Additionally, there is flavor text from an aggressor stating I am to be sold but...that doesn't happen. Seems removing Devious Devices may have broke Violate or, more likely, CSA.

 

Trying to figure it out. Currently I turned off CSA and got cuffed and ran away and can't activate the Real Handcuffs pop-up clicking on Tab.  So, it may not be CSA.

 

Will continue testing but thought I'd get this out there here as I am sure I am not the only one have run into this issue.

I may be wrong, but it is now appearing that it is Real Handcuffs that is causing the issue. This mod hijacks the pip-boy button so that instead of a pip-boy you get a message window with options to deal with the handcuffs. I suspect at times that window does not appear and the only thing you can do is restart the game from the desktop. As this is a game mechanic that has been modified, loading an earlier save won't do any good since no matter what save you use, it all uses the same mechanics. So the only option is to close to the desktop and restart the game.

 

I don't know how or why. I never use cuffs voluntarily, they get applied during AAF Violate scenes and something with that may be messing up Real Handcuffs.
