How do you update an author's animation mod if they add new animations

I'm new to this mod. I'm wondering for example if R Lo added new animations to her wicked whim mod how would I update it so I get the new animations?

Delete the old and add the new through an extractor like 7-zip or Winzip (or Winrar, I can't remember what it's called) to your Mods folder.  

Sometimes 7-zip will ask you whether or not you want to replace your current mod/animation with the new one (it'll consider the same thing), just say "Yes to All" and it'll update.

Thanks for the info. The one I'm interested in uses 7 zip. Most use Win Rar which is a whole lot easier in my opinion.
