captaincordella Posted January 4, 2020 Posted January 4, 2020 Hi Everyone, Can someone point me in the direction of a tutorial that shows you step by step how to properly animate objects like a Dildo / Vibrator in Wicked Whim animations. I want to create a sex animation where the Sim is using the Dildo on another Sim. A pretty standard sex animation, but I have looked at all of TurboDrivers tutorials and I don't see any that focus on how to properly add an object like a dildo or vibrator to the sex animation. For argument sake, lets say I am using the standard rig that comes with Sims4Studio. Any help you can provide is appreciated. Thanks!
erplederp Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 @captaincordella I don't know much about animating but I think you might find WW tutorials useful. This one shows how to export an object for use in Blender: https://wickedwhims.tumblr.com/post/149598794456/exporting-objects-from-the-sims-4 This one shows how to make the XML file describing the animation for WW. https://wickedwhims.tumblr.com/post/147746195146/creating-wickedwhims-animation-xml-file When you look at the commented template of the file, it contains "animation_props_list". The list references individual props used in an animation by their GUID (unique numeric identifier) and their clip by its name. So I guess you'd need to export the "synchronized" prop clip as a separate from the sim clip.
rb813 Posted January 8, 2020 Posted January 8, 2020 You have might have a better chance of getting a good answer by directly asking one of the animators who use a lot of objects. If your curiousity is really overwhelming, maybe even toss them some Patreon dollars to get their attention.
Estz Posted January 8, 2020 Posted January 8, 2020 Open the package with the object, you want to export. ( Make sure the package actually comes bones in them, example the Rig/Slot tab should be there.) Select export mesh. Open the blend file you just exported, select the rig and from below switch from object mode to pose mode. You find a bone named transform. You will animate with this bone. It's the same as how you would animate a sim's rig. Spoiler
captaincordella Posted January 9, 2020 Author Posted January 9, 2020 Thank you guys for replying back! @Estz - Okay, I will give this a shot. I appreciate you adding the pictures. ?
