Need help beating S and SS event festival missions!!

So i just installed the game a week ago and been enjoying it a lot, i unlocked 6 girls and have 5 SSRs (2 of them at level 80  focused on POW and STM). I managed to beat the last S rank mission on the main (story) festival but can't beat the event S or SS rank missions, i only have 10 more levels for my 2 SSRs to reach level 90 and I've been grinding for upgrade mats since. 

I was wondering if having lvl 90 SSRs will be enough or i m missing something?

If you want to beat a event missions effectively, you should have a trend SSR.(because of bonus point POW TEC STM)

 

If you don't have trend SSR or not enough (POW, TEC, STM), you should focus on guest, tension burst.

 

Do not 'All skip'. (if you want to tension burst.)

unless u have maxed level SSR for the weekly event, the chance u can win the SS+ final match is close to none(if u started playing for only a week)

 

current event, i have both momoji + nyotengu birthday suit maxed out awakening +4 (birthday suit is the strongest suit for each girl)

 

lvl 40 SSR head jewerly on both

 

3 x ex15 pow lotion on momiji, 3x SSR5 pow on tengu

 

round up + 50% pow on both in jewerly equipped boost(from full awaken sr suits and SSR suits, plus lvl up from rock climb)

 

and character lvl = 66 momiji, 61 tengu

 

actually stats is around 7500pow, 8100stam on momiji, 7700pow, 6800stam tengu

 

my chance to win ss+ final battle is less than 50%(even with time out and get help, u get extra tension gauge and recharge on stam for the girl u swap out)

 

would be easier if i have tec spec birthday suits but sadly....:(

 

its hard..... VERY HARD without current event suit.....:(

The point of these gacha games is to gradually ramp up the difficulty after you're invested in completing it, but the only way to progress is to pour money into the loot box machine to maybe get the resources required to progress. Maybe you've never played any of those slimy free mobile games, but that's how they all work and this is just another one of those.

As mentioned, you can hardly beat the SS event games without trendy SSRs (even trendy SSR at lvl 80 will still have a good chance of failure). 

You can remotely stand a tiny chance if you have maxed non-venus SSRs (tec or pow focused, mine's not fully awakened) on high level girls with great passives; adjust your strategies; call upon friends or some luck. 

Been playing a few months so by no means an expert. But I sort of have aces and pairs in the tec and pow department (whichever stat difference is greater compared to the other team. apl and stm usually comes with a cost in offensive power so I don't use it that often) and they can usually carry me up until the first few SS ranked games. That's just me auto-ing everything since I can't be bothered sitting through each round. I'm sure you can go further if you swap girls mid game or use tension bursts.

Happy with where I'm at though. Usually not really missing too much if you can't finish the last few matches.

Thanks for the answer, i have a better understanding of the game right now, i learned to use guests and targeting the right characters even with no trends you can beat it if there is a guest that maxed out his trendy suite.  

I realized the goal is not to beat the event but to grind for event currency and  xp for the rewards
