Any NPC hair mods compatible with Ethereal Elven Overhaul?

Hey folks,

 

So I'm using Ethereal Elven Overhaul in combination with CBBE body and SG Renewal textures. My elven NPC's look pretty good, except for their awful vanilla hair! However, every NPC hair mod I try gives my Elves the black face bug. Does anyone know an NPC hair mod that has a EEO compatibility patch? I find it hard to believe nobody's made one for this popular mod, but I can't seem to find any.

 

I keep reading about building facegen data yourself in the CK, is that really the only solution here? Is there a way to do that with Vortex to keep my install folder clean?
