how do i use devious devices? or anything in general?

alright so this is the first time ive ever built a computer and therefor the first time i have ever modded skyrim (to this extent since Xbox can't) so if my questions are stupid bear with me

 

so i installed devious devices and skse and all of the other mods and after about 12 total hours of trial and tribulation got everything to work without any problems... so what now? i dont see any devices in game and i dont have any clue what in the Kentucky fried fuck im doing. i dont know if i need any other mods or if im not doing something right. the only items from the mod i have are something about a scene something or other and a few apparently useless spells. what do i do?

If you want the devices put into the gameplay itself, you need mods to do so. Devious Devices Assets, Integration, and Expansion all only add the devices into the files, you can spawn them with console commands, or look up mods to add in devices based on a situation. My preferred mod for this is Cursed Loot, which gives a chance to add devices onto your character when you activate objects. Its all player controlled on what gives you a device.

There is a list somewhere on the LL forums that lists pretty much all the Devious Devices mods that make use of the asset mods.

thanks for the tip. another thing that i was wondering is the actual animations. do i need to do anything to get those and activate them or is it already in the mods i downloaded.

i guess any recommended mods would help because im just a little confused
