mle Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 This may be a bit presumptuous on my part, but I decided that if I was going to keep creating comic book shorts with Sims 4 content - and it seems I will - then I should probably have a dedicated thread just to help me stay organized, if nothing else. So I hope it's okay and if not, I'm sure whatever I break can be fixed. I'll put the disclaimer here in fine print and it covers everything I might post. Feel free to run it by your lawyer. This material is intended for adults only and may include, but is not limited to, depictions of sim sexuality, violence, and/or gardening which might make the viewer uncomfortable. You are warned. Do not blame me if you continue past this point and see something you don't enjoy. Your parents should have explained this to you a long time ago. There are zero depictions of sexual activity involving underage sims although the word "Daddy" may appear frequently as I like the way it rolls off the tongue. Do not ask me to depict underage characters having sex. God gave you an imagination, use it - just don't tell me about it. There will be no depictions of bestiality, although I may show two dogs mating on a big screen television if my sims are watching the Discovery channel, but probably not. Aardvarks are far more likely. I have not received any monetary compensation for product placement - I did it out of the goodness of my own heart. Most of the men I've met are closet lesbians. The Sexual Jihad continues. No animals were harmed in the production of this material - All persons appearing are ridiculously fictional and any resemblance to persons living or dead is purely coincidental (as far as you know). I'd like to thank my sponsors: Locomotive brand latex condoms "Strong Enough to Pull a Train!" and especially Vatican's Best Escorts - Your Sister is Waiting! In addition to the usual suspects, MLE uses the following programs: Comic Life 3, Adobe Photoshop 20, ACD Systems 5, and Notepad v.1903 Filmed on location in my kitchen - Special thanks to Mr. Coffee for his generous support. "I couldn't do it without you, man!" Thank you for your time. Enjoy the show.

Qalefir Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 It's not presumptuous to create things and showing it. Don't worry for that. Are you using a specific tool to create your comics ? Or it's photoshop/gimp/something like that ?
SeymourM Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 Nice! Looks like you're really getting the hang of this. All that is left is imagination. It was a nice twist in the end where Mrs Landgraab was also enjoying some activity on the side.

I'm using that Comic Life program that @SeymourM turned me onto in his thread HERE and everyone should check it out because his ongoing serial is pretty darn great! Other than the comic program, it's pretty much just old ACD 5.0 (really old) because it handles batch conversions/renames/resize/etc better than almost anything else I've ever tried - and I've tried everything. I'm not even sure if it's possible to get a copy of that anymore, I bought mine in 2001? maybe. And Photoshop, because that's indispensable, but I'm really trying to keep things as simple as possible. It took about 8 hours just to make this little comic, and it's pretty sloppy. Comic Life can be found HERE for people who want to see what it's about. Quote Nice! Looks like you're really getting the hang of this. All that is left is imagination. I haven't exercised it for a long time, seriously. Hopefully, it's like falling off a bike. I really appreciate the encouragement - I need more enablers in my life! And I've always had a crush on Nancy Landgraab and Geoffrey was one of the guys I would put in a swimming pool with no ladders. I feel bad about that...sometimes.
SeymourM Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Yeah, getting your imagination going is like riding a bike. In this case, without a seat and hitting the potholes. Nancy Landgraab in Sims 4 is hot. I imagine her being a hot snotty bitch. I haven't used her as much in my series as I should have. She's exploited in both scenarios. I did assign her a challenge though. We'll see how that works out for her.

SeymourM Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 This has been here since Sunday and I didn't know. I love the style. You're doing really well with this. Your picture angles are improving. Your comic assembly is improving. You're really getting the hang of this.
mle Posted December 19, 2019 Author Posted December 19, 2019 Thanks! I appreciate it a lot. Yeah, I just keep playing with it. I should probably stop making up stories as I go - they tend to not make a lot of sense sometimes I think I might adapt a story a fella named Orestes wrote a long time ago. I've been a long admirer of his and he knows it, so I don't think he'll mind. Besides, he mentioned me by name once; I owe him a little payback. I just have to make sure I do a good job.
