Poontank Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 It's not so much the water mod itself but ini settings responsible for the display of any elements' reflections. There are separate settings for about everything that can be reflected. Some of them can only be switched on by changing their ini settings as they can't be activated in the esc-key in-game video options menu. Open the Oblivion ini in 'My Documents\My Games\Oblivion' and look for the [Water] category. These are all the reflection settings: bUseWaterReflectionsMisc bUseWaterReflectionsStatics bUseWaterReflectionsTrees bUseWaterReflectionsActors Activate either one or all of them by 'setting them to true' (changing their =0 to =1) and save the ini. Be sure to also either turn on the main reflection setting bUseWaterReflections or activate this one in the mentioned in-game video options menu. And don't have Streamline suppress any possible reflection effect in case you are using it. I personally use Brittainy's 'L & G Water' even if in some weather and lighting situations the water has indeed a rather 'artificial' look to it. Haven't yet tried the different optional files however, maybe they have more realistic-looking variants. This tropical, clear water I like very much.
