So had some time to myself this afternoon, there's only 6 more characters that would work for this, one of which is Marnie, I can't find her age online and she does appear younger than other characters so would welcome some advice on that one, which leaves 5 other candidates:

 

Let me know your thoughts and will work on them unless @Ammannu has made any progress with his mod.

Main file in first post has been updated, new edits should work, but as always until I hit the part of the game they load into, they remain untested but should be fine. If an area causes a crash in the Switch, delete the files until it doesn't crash then let me know which file is affected.

Minor update, apparently Atmosphere has change the folder structure, so extract the files to "content" not "titles"

 

Slight update for the trial water model coming, missed the normal/ambient maps so looks like she is wearing transparent clothing rather than nude. Confirmed the angler works fine in game. Will update the file later or tomorrow.

This may or may not be a recolour I downloaded, I think her coat is normally brown but looks like I overwrote the original files with the recolour so apologies to the original author, I don't remember where I got it.

Assistant 00 done, this was the one that I overwrote with a fan made recolour, but managed to dig out a backup

Updated the main file in the first post, correct folder structure for new version of atmosphere, fixed trial water, added both versions of assistant.

 

Will probably go back and clean up some of the earlier textures to get them consistent with the new versions later.

Apologies, the folder structure isn't right, I put it as "content" but it should be "contents" on your SD card, will fix that in the next update so please take note and correct it when you install the mod.

Trial water and the main female grunt are still coming up with what looks like transparent clothing so need to work on the more, it does the job, but isn't as pictured above for the time being.

Making some more progress, you can see on the right there is a pinkish hue on the top which the game was rendering darker so it looked like she was wearing a see through top, the model on the left has been corrected so hopefully I am on the right track, the problem was the older version of toolbox didn't render this difference properly so I missed it first time around. I still can't find where the seams are stored though so that needs more work as Toolbox doesn't display them at all but the game does.

Can't work it out, there must be something baked into the engine to generate seams between certain UV coordinates, probably a failsafe for texture editing

Updated Ambient, Normal and Specular textures for most characters, should prevent any phantom clothes outlines, buttons, etc appearing in certain lighting conditions.

 

Cloth seams for some characters in game still remain until I find a workaround.

Legend, so this fixes a ton of problems and to be honest makes the game look nicer anyway. Recommend using this mod with my texture edits, still some work in places and found a few new characters I overlooked that I can work on hopefully on the weekend. I will have a look how they did this mod and see if I can make my own version to include with my files, dont want to just steal their mod.

Oh snap I didn't know you came back! I'm so happy to see this! Cause i'm about to do my own second run of Pokemon Sword after all this time because my old save data file got deleted accidentally lol. How goes your progress so far?
