Duoleb The Chosen Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 guys, for some unknown reasy my character is being followed by invisible NPC's, i can't target them thus i can't kill them. thy still have collision boxes but they dont have even a name even on wireframe mode i can see them does someone know how to fix this?
Duoleb The Chosen Posted January 24, 2013 Author Posted January 24, 2013 guys even if i rollback my saves there's still a lot of invisible NPC's all with Default Male voice please someone help!
Veta Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 Probably a mod problem ,try running skyrim without mods to see if your problem is fixed . If not you will need to go to steam and verify integrity of game cache . *Personal note: I had the exact same problem some months ago I think it was Skyrim monster mod that caused it but no guarantees.
Voltranis Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 I would try what Veta said, if that doesn't work, try toggling your archive invalidation, it's a stretch, but it may fix your issue.
Duoleb The Chosen Posted January 26, 2013 Author Posted January 26, 2013 well i removed deadlydragons(which its monly only monster mod), and well it worked, it looks like if you didn't put the DeadlyMonsters mod along with DD the game itself will create the invisible NPC's(which is in case your clones, Default Male Character)
Duoleb The Chosen Posted February 1, 2013 Author Posted February 1, 2013 well its back, even without Deadly dragons, there's still some NPC's following me
Veta Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 did you try what Kenanga said you can toggle the archive invalidation easily with nexus's mod manager , although I doubt it will do the trick , you should try making a new game and you can keep your characters face with face transfer it basically move how you look to a different save , also it is a good idea to be same race and sex from the different saves .
sora3 Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Archive Invalidation is not used on this engine as the engine scales to the loose files BY DEFAULT. This is just left over code from Oblivion. In any case, I suggest you check the integrity of the games cache through Steam and defrag the cache as well. If that doesn't help, deactivate all the mods then slowly add them in until you hit the problem. Good luck.
Uriel Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Are you using Wet and Cold? Or were you using Wet and Cold? Those ghosts are usually the remnants of older WaC versions. Search the WaC page/forum thread on nexus for the solution.
