Keyboard Warrior Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 So, normally I do reskins on my own. For instance, I recently got decrepithawk's 'Silencers Vestments' mod. It's ferkin' awesome. So, I then realized, "Great. The skirt doesn't have Verlet on it. :C" ... So, I tried... and tried, and tried for about 3 1/2 hours. I haven't been able to reskin it so the skirt was invisible, and see-through. The closest I got was getting the skirt to be invisible, but a sort of 'opaque invisible', if you can wrap yer head around that. Basically, the skirt is gone, but I can't see my legs under it. What I ask, is that someone please tell me exactly how to fix this (I seriously tried a fuckload of tactics with GIMP and Nifskope. None of them worked ;~; ) OR Preferably, someone simply do it for me. I'm trying to reskin the female 'robes' of the mod 'Silencer's Vestments'. (Not sure if I can post Nexus linkies here.) You'd find the texture in: \Data\textures\decrepithawk\brotherhood\robef.dds I simply want the skirt to be transparent. Nothing more. Thanks to anyone who does this for me! I'm suprised I couldn't figure it out myself.

I'm trying to remove the skirt / front part thing on THIS armor from the same mod: http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/images/15265-4-1343868148.jpg ( I know it's hard to see the skirt, but it's basically the adept mage robes, reskinned black. )

EDIT: Only potential problem I see atm is it may have messed up the textures. But, I haven't tested this yet. Will get back to you when I know if it did or didn't.
Keyboard Warrior Posted January 25, 2013 Author Posted January 25, 2013 Yeah, it made parts of the leg invisible (I think that's a problem with the mesh) It also made the texture mess up. Now it's just pure black, doesn't even reflect in light

[/quote'] Hmm, will blender work? I've been trying my best to dick around with the mesh, but to no avail x.x Fixing it up in nifskope is HARD.
