ok so i installed the children of the sky mod and removed it because it affected every child in the game, my problem is via uninstalling it every child still wears the clothing in the mod, it just looks so buggy and weird, any help on fixing this, i want the clothing removed, not to fix the buggy look.

There´s a folder in the main pack called something like "NPC original clothes". Just copy-paste the meshes to your data folder, or you can directly delete meshes in your data/meshes/clothes/clotheschildren (the original ones are still in the original meshes.bsa)

Maybe I an borrow this thread for a problem of my own!

I use children of the sky also, but had to remove the playable race due to messing up my adult characters. It all went fine until I decided to remove the Apachii hairs from my game. The children wear vanilla hairs just fine, however their heads/faces are now a different colour from the rest of the body, and doesn't look quite as innocent as they did originally. how can I solve this?

I suppose it could also have to do with me removing Bellas head textures because I had trouble with neckseams. I've been looking around to see how I can mend the children, without having to live with mods I don't want on my own character.

Hi, I´ll borrow this thread for my own little problem. It´s that Children of the Sky crashes when I try to change the sex in showracemenu through console and also at character creation in Helgen at beginning of the game. I also seem to have some more or less random CTD, and I´m not using other race mods or mods that affect children.
I have a huge load list but this is at the very end with YChildren of the sky.esp very last.
I hope anyone doesn´t mind me waking an old thread.

You've got files missing or in the wrong paths most likely. Probably the female skeleton, meshes or textures. Double check where all the files landed, the default archives are not NMM compatible and will put things in the wrong place for instance. As will just expanding the archives into the data folder, stuff will end up a level too deep.

Use BUM and BOSS to sort your load order. Ychildren doesn't need to be that low. Mine is ordered 68 of 123 for instance and working fine.

It does need RaceCompatibility first, then xvisionchildren, then YChildren in that order.

If you're running Dawnguard I highly recommend the updated RaceCompatibility with Dawnguard. I'm using that instead of the included one just fine and it's updated fairly often.
