After a colossal screwup with installing a dozen texture mods and corrupting my game that involved a lot of frustration, asking dumb questions and launching Skyrim, I decided to just say screw it and reinstall the whole game, starting from scratch. I'm using console commands to get most of my stuff back, so I'm alright with that. I'm going to use console commands to get back everything that I lost, so I'm okay on that front. What would be super-helpful now is if you guys could recommend some good texture mods to use with SexiS and Sex Addict. Since I'm doing a complete reinstall, I made a list of the mods that I really want to use from my last saved game: Apachii Skyhair Bellyaches CBBE Quality world map Better males Isilmeriel LOTR Weapons Supermodel Skyrim II Unofficial Skyrim Patch Pumping Iron And of course, SKSE and FNIM. These are the ones that I'd really like to start with, but what I'm really worried about this time around is hitting something like I did before by having two mods that mess each other up. Essentially, what do you guys use for your texture mods? What works for you? Any and all input is much appreciated: I'd just like to know which mods I can trust to run with one another.
Jimjim117 Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 I use the ones that come with CBBE and I hate to tell you this but you can get corrupt save games from installing texture mods. I have all of those mods and they work fine for me. Textures can cause CTD if they are too large for your computer to handle though. And If your going to use Supermodel Skyrim II then I'd recommend this to fix the neck seams: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26275

[/quote'] textures normally don't make your game crash or not start. normally there is an .esm/.esp file or even a navmesh that mess up your game. your loadorder can also mess up your game next time use the TES5EDIT to test run your game with all the mods installed, if you find an error it will tell witch one.........im most cases. after you have fixed your errors just run BOSS to fix your loadorder. TES5EDIT Link BOSS Link hope this will help you out in the future........ on a side note, there is no reason that any of the mods you mention won't work, i use them all myself + like 120 more mods with no problems don't use Supermodel Skyrim II tho :/
