Issues with removing underwear!

Recommended Posts

Hello I'm new to using  the basics of WickSims and was testing it out. So it generally does work for me but for some reason there's ONE sim that will not go into full nude.

I have done the following;

1. Gone to CAS and removed all possible accessories or clothes that clashes.

2. Gone into full CAS edit to change skin to a default one to see if it clashed with that type of CC.

3. The 'ww.fix_sim_nude_outfit' command

I've even exited the game to retry and it changed from an underwear to long pants, instead. Again, only to one sim (a feminine male and enabled the penis setting to 'yes'). The rest are fine. Please help since this is an important sim of mine!

I run most of the Sims 4 Studio CAS Batch fixes, however to fix the nude issue make sure to run these two:

Disallow CC for Default Garment

Disallow CC for Shower

Don't run those two batch fixes on the following:  gameplay mods (including WW), skintones, skin overlays, default overrides, and tattoos.  Temporarily move them out of your mods folder while cleaning.

You don't need to run all of the Allow/Disallow batch fixes if you don't want them.  I have never run the 'Update CAS for all genders' batch fix.

There is a more complex way of identifying and removing bad CC but it involves using Sims 4 Tray Importer.

  1. Create a blank Sim (or use your existing Sim with the problem) with absolutely nothing on them except for the offending CC
  2. Click on the red x on all clothing, hair, facial hair, shoes, face, skin details, makeup, hats, and all accessory categories to ensure the Sim is truly empty
  3. Do the above for all outfit categories and also ensure that the Sim only has one outfit per category
  4. Save the Sim to your Library (tray)
  5. Open up Sims 4 Tray Importer
  6. Scroll down until you see your newly created Sim and select it
  7. Click on 'Export with CC' and save it
  8. Open up the saved file and look at the CC files.  If you did it correctly there should only be one or two package files (.package).
  9. You can view these files in Sims 4 Studio if you aren't sure which file is the offending bad CC:  Sims 4 Studio - 'My CC'
  10. Delete the offending file from your Sims 4 mods folder

If you capture more than one file, it is usually a skintone, skin overlay, or default override mod which you probably want to keep.

I also use the Sims 4 Tray Importer method to remove ugly CC from CAS.  I've loaded a Sim with all the CC I hate and identify it and remove it all in one go.

Thank you so much for the help! I found out I just had the scripts part disabled and it caused an issue in the game. But this information can definitely help me with future stuff I'd like to know since I don't know how to use S4 studio beyond "My CC" yet!

Thank you again!
