ts2/3 > ts4 file conversion?

Is there a way to convert files made for the sims 2 or 3 into files for the sims 4? I have six or so really cool custom content .package files that I would love to add to my game, but obviously they don't work... how would I go about doing this? is it appropriate for me to post them in the hopes of someone else being able to convert them, if I link back to where I found them (the artist's MTS page)?
