Guest Lady Luck Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Diablo : Hellfire review This review takes back to 1998 , when blizzard freshly debut Diablo a top down action rpg where many ripped off its game play , hellfire doesn't have a really great quality on the first one , still it's not a bad game while the story is strongly built where the heroes left off on first diablo game. now this expansion rarely knowned because nobody really played it few of them were distributed first on California i was so excited when the game announced on daily PC gamer magazine. Hellfire's storyline occurs as an aside to the main story arc of the original game. A sorcerer, while performing a ritual, unknowingly releases the demon Na-Krul unto the town of Tristram, but before it can completely escape, the sorcerer magically seals the doors. The player is later tasked with venturing into Na-Krul's lair and vanquishing it. The game start off with the resurrection of demon Na-Krul the next boss to the first one which unforgivably hard because at the time no magazine published cheats for this expansion, we were clueless on how to finished the game . The classes Warrior <-- major character Monk <-- sub major character Barbarian <-- new edition at the time Bard <-- only available through a quest where you can unlock later on Total Build Character http://extreme-gamerz.org/diablo/viewdiablo/charstats now before you saying diablo 3 is original how about this they ripped off monk from earliest expansion bringing new one which utterly pointless. Diablo I : Pros/Cons The game's atmosphere was not as effective as that of the first. New sound effects for new monsters were at a much lower bitrate. Some new spells were simple modifications of existing spells, such as Lightning Wall, Ring of Fire, or Immolation. Hellfire had no support for Battle.net, the online service utilized by Blizzard's online multiplayer games. There were problems with pathfinding algorithms that resulted in complications while trying to pursue ranged-attack monsters. Incompatibility with the Macintosh version of Diablo. A rushed development cycle. Many of the later bugfixes introduced in patches for Diablo do not carry over into Hellfire, and Sierra only released one patch, fixing a small number of bugs exclusive to Hellfire itself. My Rate Graphics : Standard Diablo 2D sprites Ambiance : Standard Ambiance lesser to the original one Characters : well Balanced then Diablo 2 Monsters : Some are overpowered Story : Great Music : as usually every diablo game has its own scores Final rating :7.2
