monkeycid Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Hey! So, I got a problem I'm struggling to rectify and Google hasn't been helpful. I'm trying to install the Unofficial Oblivion Patch using Wrye Bash and I accidentally declined the installation of the jail fix OBSE plugin. I've tried reinstalling the patch, even downloaded a fresh copy but it automatically skips this plugin without a prompt. Is there any way to undo this skip and install the plugin?
Sarnaath Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 I remember having that same issue, but not how I solved it. I may have resorted to reinstalling Wrye Bash. After googling the issue myself, I have an idea, but I don't know if this will work. You can export the list of allowed/disallowed OBSE plugins to a text file, then re-import that back in. (This is from the settings icon at the bottom.) Maybe try exporting that list and then edit it to remove any reference to the jail fix dll, and reimporting it. With any luck Wrye Bash will prompt you the next time install that package. I also read you can rename the package (I would think not through Wrye Bash) and Wrye Bash will prompt you again since it's a different package. Or maybe pull out that OBSE\plugins folder and put it in a separate package to install. Good luck. Hopefully someone will come along with a simpler fix. edit: I tried the 1st method, editing the list, and it seemed to work ok. When you import choose NO to the pop up asking if you want to merge the imported list with the current one (choosing NO means replacing the current with the imported). I reinstalled the UOP and got the prompt again.
