Completely glitched ghoul body

So I've had this issue for more than a year now and I still don't know what causes it...

Both "normal" ghouls and feral ones are affected.

My load order is huge and has some merged esps so I don't think its worth sharing but does anyone know where to identify the file causing this glitch ? (In FO4Edit for example). I already tried replacing my Fallout4 - Meshes.ba2 with the vanilla one but with no success.

Please help =(

I had this problem with Nat  in front of her sister's news office.

I had tried to give her clothes, and change her hairstyle.

To solve it, I had to go back to Nat's vanilla version, and reinstall her character back in the game.

And save it.  Many characters in the game do not like being changed.

Thanks for the answer, the problem is that I never edited this special character, all ghouls in my game are glitched like this, wether its Hancock or a random feral...

Since no other characters are being affected, another mod is messing with the ghouls.

Having said that I have no idea which one.  Do you have any mods that have an effect on just the ghoul race?

In fo4edit, pick a ghoul and look at it and  see if it has any dependencies . if they differ from the vanilla , it will show you a side by side comparison yellow for a caution and red for a possible conflict.

Now it could be as simple as the file in the vanilla Fallout4.esm has become corrupted.

If you reload your game, your saved files will be safe, and it could clear up the problem.

BTW, try this command in console mode, click on the character and type  resurrect 1

This completely resets the character back to its vanilla state.

Found it! I made a custom esp a while ago to tweak a few things in the game like characters factions and inventories, I guess I messed up something while doing it, disabling the esp was enough to have normal bodies back.

I didn't know FO4Edit had that color filter to find dependencies, that's such a great tool.
Thanks a lot for your answers you made someone happy lol.

Have a nice day.
