Neck Seam Help UNPB

I stumbled across your forum while trying to find help for this issue in google and after browsing through the forums came to hope that maybe someone here could help me a bit.

I'm trying to fix an issue with neck seams when using the milkdrinker skin and accompanying face texture with UNPB. I've ran through tutorial and modder resource one after another and I'm lacking in the skill to make heads or tails of it. I either need a step by step walk through or, and honestly at this point I think it would be quicker, if some kind soul could fix the issue for me.

I'm currently trying to use it with the head meshes from better females by bella v3.

Thank you for any assistance.

(Also, if this thread is in the wrong forum I apologize, but considering the skin texture is nude I decided to err on the side of caution)

That will make a vast difference to the neck seam, it wont be entirely gone but near as damnit.

Make sure you back up your character asset folder before you apply the texture blender, the .dds files will get a lot bigger after running them through a blender and can cause ctd's.

To achive this neck seam fix.... Do I just put the head files into the texture blender library and use the png file and click blend.. or if I want to fix a neck seam on a custom character that exists in their own folder with their own name... do I have to put those files into the female folder then use the blender and replace them back into the original folder. Hopefully someone could upload a short video. I think the instructions are a little confusing.

Hey I tried using the UNP texture blender for my UNP + Bella's combo, and while (with the help of another mod), gets rid of the neck seam, it creates a nasty beard-like effect on females as shown here http://i.imgur.com/t4s7J2X.jpg Anyone have any idea how to fix it?

I'm pretty sure Bella's Better Females had this issue the whole time. If you take a look at the screenshots http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/2812 you can see the problem there too, seems that the texture blender just increased it.

You will notice when you open texture blender the bottom left hand corner has 'use installed textures' or something along those lines, so whatever head and body .dds are in the female folder will be used when you do the blend. If you have a custom race in its own folder then you could do what you suggest and drop them into the female folder to blend then put them back afterwards, or you can put the custom head textures into the texture blender library and uncheck the bottom left corner option to use installed textures and manually select the texture you want to use.

Personally I don't use the texture blender. When I switched back from LadyBody to UNP (lack of armour choice prompted the switch) I kept the ladybody head mesh and textures as I prefer those but I noticed the specular map goes weird after you run it through the blender, so I did it manually in photoshop ...

And then I hide the neck seam with UNP jewelry variants mod from the Nexus lol

The problem with Bella's is there already as Absurd said, the blender just exaggerates the problem, I think that is caused by the specular map too.

I helped test this remake of Navetsea's texture, looks wonderful. There are couple of dif versions for dif machines, I'm using the HIGH version because I have a good machine. He suggests install with NMM but manual is completely possible if you know how. I refuse to use NMM so I taught myself lol http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/30181

I use UNPB-BBP v2.4HD body
