Peeping / Voyeur Issue

Hi Gang,

(I posted same concern on WW Patreon page too - so you may read this twice). 

 

I'm not sure what I did or if it's something that can be helped. Regarding the voyeur aspect. In the past, peeping sims would show up to my lot look in a few different windows for a few minutes (real world time) - maybe start to strip and masturbate. NOW, a peeping sim shows up on the lot, looks in one window for 2 seconds then seems to change gears (clothes changes, the whim ends) and they walk away.  

 

WHAT I HAVE DONE: I "showed hidden households" and CAS-editted the peeping (Tom/Tina) household.   I also added the "hidden trait" of being a peeping sim to a few different homeless townie sims to turn them in to peeping sims.   The only way that I know of to add such a trait is to at least temporarily play the househould, testingcheats to add the trait then UNfavorite the household to no long control them. I did this to about 5 different homeless sims. I then deleted the default Tom sim from the game (but not Tina). MCCC mod wound up placing tina in a house-lot. 

 

Now - they do show up but walk away almost instantly. Ever since I did this the Voyeur peeping doesn't work the way it used to.  Is there any other experiences like this and/or suggestions to correct it?

 

TROUBLESHOOTING: I did remove all recent mods I added over the past 10 days to see if that was a compatibility issue - but did not fix. It was not a problem 10 days ago (before editing CAS on peeping household and adding that trait to others. 

 

HAS anyone else experienced this? 

 

VERSION: I have not done the recent Sept Update from Sims or the WW mod. The last update I have is the release of Island living - and the associated WW mod a month or so ago but the voyeur system was working fine for while even after that.

Lots of the same problem for me. Just doesn't work like it used to. Peepers never strip or masturbate any more. They move quickly from one window to the next. If I even attempt to edit them, all peepers stop coming to the house completely, never to return.

 

If I don't edit them, I tried removing the trait from them, it doesn't work. They keep coming and peeping anyway. If I assign the trait to a new person, they never show up. I can't figure it out, the whole thing makes no sense any more.

Well, I figured out part of it. I don't like the idea of a male peeper peeping on my female sim. So, I changed Tom into a female and they stopped coming.

 

I created a new household with two female peepers and neither come. I created another male and the male comes.

 

Thing is, female peepers used to come and peep on my female sim all the time. Now they never come.

 

Is there a trait or something that would make them come? Gender preference? Or is that blocked now?

Actually the male sim came once and never again. I now have 4 peepers and none of them come. 3 females and 1 male. All have the trait. I have the peeping occurrence thing set to 1.0

 

It looks like the peeping system is completely broken. Shame. I rather liked it.

 

I tried removing all other mods, just had WW and MCCC, cleared cache files, nothing works.

 

Should I post a new thread for this?

I did all the same as you stated with regards to trying to fix it.

 

The feedback I got on the patreon page indicates this is a compatibility problem with toddlers/children on the lot. Do you have any?  I personally started noticing the problem when I aged the 2 babies up to toddlers and never connected that dot.  We had the same problem w/ toddlers on a lot in regards to autonomous sex requests by sims. 

 

TD fixed the autonomous sex issue about 4 months ago w/ an update.  He just addressed the Voyeur/peeping issue on a new update. I just got it and will let you know if I detect it is fixed.
