How to remove custom dicks on male followers so SOS works properly?

Could somebody please tell me how to safely remove/replace the nifs (what files and where) that some authors are using on their NPC replacers, so that I don't get the "double donger" issue when running SOS? There are a slew of male replacers and custom followers out there that have this issue.
