Bodyslide Recognizing Outfit Mods with Vortex

I am using Vortex.  When I use Bodyslide, it does not appear to pick up any mods that I have added (Tiwa's stuff, DD stuff, etc.).  I have perused a number of topics here and on other sites, I have seen two versions of the GIF, including the one on the mod page.  When I use Bodyslide outside of the game directory, nothing picks up.  When I manually place the folder into the games directory and set up the tool, it picks up the CBBE presets, but nothing else.  I even directly linked to the Vortex folder (which had the same effect as it not being in the games directory).

 

What is the solution (besides retreating back to MO2)?  Do I need to manually move the Bodyslide files from each of the outfit mods into the game directory so Bodyslide can read it, in the same way  I did with Bodyslide and the CBBE presets?

So, then let me follow up with this - I have been able to get Bodyslide to identify the outfits, but now the outfit/body files, but now the presets are missing, despite multiple reinstalls.  I even disabled every mod feeding into the Bodyslide folder to the point where it was empty on deployment, and then reenabled.
