Teach Me How to Make a Pretty Face

I am looking to start modding Fallout 4 but I cannot figure out how to make a character that does not look ugly and gaunt. Can you provide advice on how to make a pretty character. (e.g. what mods to use and\or what ENBs to use).

 

I have tried downloading presets and their requirements but they never look like the screenshots. Furthermore once I zoom out the character looks horrible.
