Basemental Drugs can't use pot brownies or lean

I'm using the basemental drug mod in my game but my sims can't use the weed brownies or lean? They can make them but when I tell the sims to eat or drink either one they say they can't? Has anyone else been having this issue?? Or know how to fix it??

I know this is a little old, but I'm having the same issue. Even if I put it in their inventory they say they can't get to it.

I'm still having the issue last time I checked with the brownies anyways. The lean was fixed in a update recently. I just don't use the brownies since it doesn't work right. Sucks though ?

I just downloaded the mod and I can't get my sim to drink lean either? Anyone know if this is still an existing problem or if I just suck? ?

Sorry to necro this, but I've just had the problem today and managed to work around it.

My sim couldn't eat her plate of edibles, so I tried a bunch of locations: standing up, sitting in a lounge chair, an armchair and a desk chair all failed.

 

However, sitting at a counter and bar stool, she got through her plate of weed brownies. I decided to try a standard dining table & chair as well, and as long as you get your sim to sit before they start eating, that works too.
