Synthael Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 I've reinstalled Fallout New Vegas recently because I had some problems with Steam so I just made a fresh installation of everything. I looked up the old load list and added mods one by one as fresh downloads. Comp specs: Intel Core 2 Duo @3.00 GHz ATI Radeon HD6850 1 GB 6 GB RAM Windows 7 x64 I'm using NVSE (the latest version) with extender plugin and 4gb launcher. Here's my load order: FalloutNV.esm DeadMoney.esm HonestHearts.esm OldWorldBlues.esm LonesomeRoad.esm ClassicPack.esm CaravanPack.esm TribalPack.esm MercenaryPack.esm GunRunnersArsenal.esm Project Nevada - Core.esm Project Nevada - Cyberware.esp Project Nevada - Rebalance.esp Project Nevada - Extra Options.esm Advanced Recon Tech.esm Primary Needs HUD.esm aHUD.esm iHUD.esm Interior Lighting Overhaul - Core.esm MikotoBeauty.esm New Vegas Redesigned II.esm RHKGilbertCompanion.esm DarNifiedUINV.esp Readius_NV.esp Project Nevada - Cyberware Additions.esp Project Nevada - Rebalance Complete.esp Project Nevada - All DLC.esp The Mod Configuration Menu.esp Advanced Recon Gear.esp Advanced Recon Tech.esp Advanced Recon Gear - Project Nevada.esp Advanced Recon Range Finder.esp RapscallionsSexxxyCardRevampDMHighWin.esp RSCR Expansion.esp VanGraffHostilityFactionFix.esp DMFixes-PerksandChallengesDLCIntegration.esp InShiningArmor_ALLDLC_PerkFix.esp HittheDeckandStonewallFix.esp LFox Stealth Suit Bug Fixes.esp GRA WRP Compatibility Patch.esp EVE FNV.esp christinecos.esp OWBTransportalPonder.esp Patient Gown at Startup by TheCalculator.esp 3M Clothing.esp T6M Equipment Replacer NV.esp T6M Dead Money Armor.esp T6M Old World Blues Replace.esp bzArmour.esp Sunglasses Shipment.esp MikotoBeauty.esp NVR- Recommended.esp New Vegas redesigned- Honest Hearts.esp populatedcasino-medium.esp AllCompanionsEssential 2.0b.esp UnlimitedCompanions.esp MaxFollowers12.esp 1st EDEcon.esp NVR Veronica.esp A Better Cass.esp RHKGilbertCompanion-Mikoto.esp NVWillow.esp SunnyCompanion.esp ProjectRealityMkIv5HDR.esp Interior Lighting Overhaul - Ultimate Edition.esp Merged Patch.esp Total active plugins: 66 Total plugins: 68 Allmost all mods are from Nexus, with a few made by myself (3m Clothing), mods I merged together by copying/pasting/rewriting scripts (DMFixes...) or ones I'm developing (Rapscallions....; RSCR Expansion)... Dunno if it's related, but I also use NMC's textures pack, medium variant. I packed it into a bsa archive as i did with a few more retexture mods (RSCR and WRP). Each mod has it's own bsa. I can't get a straight 5 minutes of gameplay without a CTD. For comparison, this was my old load list which had an average of 1 crash in 6-7 hours of gameplay... coldreborn Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Coming from personal experience, Project Nevada doesn't play nice with alot of mods. I went so far as a complete uninstall, and I've lessened my crashes considerably just from that. Also, last I checked DarniNfiedUI hasn't been updated in quite some time, seems Darn took a break from working on his mods I'd guess. I would recommend downloading Wyreflash, from the nexus, also make sure you get the Wyrepython on the same page as Wyreflash's, or it wont work. Another super handy utility is FNVEdit, which is also available on Nexus, get it's manual too, which is on the downloads list at its mod page. Read through the manual about how to use both, especially FNVEdit's filtering for conflicts. And lastly download BOSS if you don't have it already. All the links for those utilities can be found here' along with some handy information. Links
Synthael Posted January 11, 2013 Author Posted January 11, 2013 I've been using FNVEdit for a long time, checking and removing conflicts wherever i could with it, so I'm quite used to it... Darnified UI works ok, i haven't had any problems with it as people working on Unified HUD had integrated it very well with other UI mods... I will check on Project Nevada with a bit more attention, but as I had no big problems before, it's a bit weird if it's the culprit. Btw, is there a setting in FNVEdit where for merged patch it uses all the esm and esp files, not only the conflicting ones? Thanks for the reply, Bastardinho
