Is there any way to get a value directly from a script attached to an equipped item?

For example, if I want to get a value of property LockAccessDifficulty from a script attached to a devious device, but not a value from its base object (for example, the value on my custom devious device is changed by an addition\substraction from its base LockAccessDifficulty when the item is equipped and I want to get that modified value, not the base one).
