This never happened before so I don't what to say. I have a very unique bug happening to the mod Ethereal Elven Overhaul. There are vertical strips on all faces of female elves. I thought it's first just some conflict. Then I deleted all the mods and did a clean install on activating EEO, it still have this bug. Can anyone help me to solve this issue? Link of image:

 Possibly a tintmask problem... were you playing around in the CK at all before this happened? The CK does NOT handle *some* (not all) modded tintmasks at all well, and this can cause all kindsa face-texture problems in your Skyrim. There is an easy workaround though.

Does it show like that in game, or just in CK? When designing Presets for character creation I would see this bug, if I say did a SPF as a custom race, loaded up CK, imported the data and then race changed the preset to Nord. As FasestDog said, CK doesn't like custom tintmasks. If you use the Ck to pack your BSA it won't even pack the file structure for your custom tints. Took me a while to figure this one out. I will pack as a BSA using CK for basic file structures, close CK, unpack my own BSA, add in files CK didn't want to add like tintmasks, then repack the BSA using the Archive tool.

 Interesting! I haven't actually made any .BSA's yet - I'll hafta remember this method when I do. Thanks Shaydow!

The workaround I use at my end is simply to *temporarily* remove the tintmasks folder from \Data\Textures\actors\character\character assets before I open the CK, and put it back once I'm done. This avoids a number of face texture bugs - one of which is a stripey face. :)
