Mods cancelling each other?

So I'm new here and I've installed and have been playing with a number of mods from this site. Most just don't seem to do anything. A case of conflicts between mods? Here are the ones I have issue with:

 

Sanguine Debauchery - At level 14 I went through the Vanilla quest with Sam (who turns out to be Sanguine). The quest (whatever it is) in SD's MCM menu is still greyed out. I am now level 18 so I've leveled 4 times since meeting Sanguine and nothing has happened. I have not been enslaved. I haven't been to any 'Dream world'.

 

Sexual Harassment - Part of it seems to be functioning. Damn city guards won't leave me alone and on a few occasions they wouldn't take no for an answer. But no citizens have even bothered to say "Hi" when I walk by.

 

SL Approach - By the same guy as did Sexual Harassment (which may be the one responsible for the guards bugging me so much). Either or both don't seem to do squat with anyone other than guards.

 

Don't think I have any issue with others, they seem to work as intended and in fact are requirements for many of these (such as Sexlab Aroused Redux). Many of them are passive such as this.

 

The only mod that seems to kick in a lot is SE Defeat ...losing a fight has consequences now other than death.

 

Really sad that nothing is happening with Sanguine. I've looked over all the other slavery mods and decided against them for one reason or another (Too many issues posted by others who have used them or tried installing and they just won't work (Slaverun)). So for 18 levels have not been enslaved.

 

Thinking of installing Scent of Sex, not much bad said about it in comments and it could replace Defeat, Harassment and Approach.

This is mentioned in the Mod Pages, the author is aware of that as far as I can tell.
