Custom model texture glitch

I am trying to make 3D fangs to use as a head part or armor. I don't know how to use Blender so I'm trying to do it in Nifskope. I took the base game's model for a sabercat tooth and fiddled with it till it was in the right position and then copied its NiTriShapeData onto a mesh that had a head node. Now when I select the mesh in the creation kit the texture stretches towards the ground like in the image, and the same thing happens in game. Can anyone help me with this?
