Wet Function Redux won't work

Hey guys first time poster here. I apologize if this post is in the wrong place. So as the title says, I can't get Wet Function Redux to work in game. I end up using the whole stamina bar and nothing happens to my skin. I played around with the MCM values and still nothing. I used the force effects options and noting happened. I have all of the requirements and tried reinstalling NiOverride. Is there something that I'm doing wrong? If it matters, I'm using the Fair Skin Complexion for UUNP. I also copied one of my followers muscle textures (.msn files) if that makes any difference. Any help is appreciated:)
