YellowBanana Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 I am working on armor conversion from oblivion to skyrim and I do everything as explained in skyrim wiki tutorial. But I am stuck on BSLightingShaderProperty`s properties. Link for tut: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Creating_an_armour_for_Skyrim._Part_2#Export_the_armour It is "the next step consists in setting the right properties for the BSLightingShaderProperty nodes you've just added". Problem is that their screenshots of block details of BSLightingShaderProperty looks different then mine. Their: Â Â Mine Nifskope: Â Â There are a lot of differences... What should I do now?
Ark of Truth Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 If you are using a different version to that used in the tutorial it is expect. Â However try starting from beginning and see if it happens again as you may have missed a setting or step. This is normally the first thing to do when stuff like this happens.
YellowBanana Posted January 1, 2013 Author Posted January 1, 2013 It looks like I made a mistake in something because I checked Nifskope 1.0.0 and 1.1.3 (I am using 1.1.0 ver) and in both there was Skyrim Shader Type and other stuff wchich isnt on wiki tutorial screenshot. Gonna do everything from beggining... CRAP
Ark of Truth Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 It happens, especially if your new to it. I made a few mistake when I first started.
tattooedillusions Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Yep that's how we all learn. Trial and error (a lot in my case and still on going lol) and some help along the way when things seem that they're never going to work.
Shaydow Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Took me forever to figure out it was skinned shader causing me problems with world / inventory models. I mean FOREVER.
