CK won't save changes/close out properly

I get the infinte spinning circle and (not responding). If I try to close it it asks to wait for the program to respond or close. If I pick close none of the changes save and if I don't it just gets stuck there.

 

I previously had this problem: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=14535 and fixed it using the skyrimeditor.ini method after trying to dig through the bsa. I don't know if it's related to that or not.

 

This is quite terrible as I need to do an import and also spent quite a bit of time re-doing a race already.

 

I figured it out. It was because of the color extender.
