Tans broken/mermaid faces glitching

It seems that the latest update to Wicked Whims is causing issues with the tanning system in Island Living (tans don't show up at all). Also, there's a weird glitch where mermaid's faces disappear when in mermaid form.  Had these issues with ww in my game, removing the mod made them go away.  I think that's the right last exception text below?  I didn't try to read it I just looked at the time stamp.

I was having the same issue with my sims face missing when he turned into a merman. Just did some testing now, removed Nandong's tounge mod, since I don't have any other files that modifies a sims head. I had my sim turned again, and his face was fine after removing the 4 files (overrideSlider, male+female default replacement and the animation package).

 

It might be worth trying if you use that tounge mod (or any other, probably)

I use Nandong's stuff too, but I found that CNWW's mods give me this same glitch. Once CNWW et al was removed, the heads are normal.

i got the same problem too, whenever i make a sim eat the mermaid kelp, once they turn into a mermaid in the water, there face goes missng, all is left is their hair, and teeth.
also, yeah the skin tan/sunburn doesnt appear when i this mod enabled.

CC eyelashes and tongues are the biggest culprit of this. Almost all CC eyelashes (well CAS CC in general) was broken with the IL patch. 

 

If you use no No EA Eyelashes, here is a hotfix for it.

Then you have to go through all of your mods until yu find the one causing it. Mostly CAS CC.
