Shivering Isles Idea?

I'm wondering if you can somehow cancel out the requirement for Shivering Isles for some mods. Can I, and if so, how? Thanks.

That would most likely be a no.

 

In order for the mods to work with SI it needs to be loaded.

 

SI does do sone editing to the main Oblivion.esm as well so it would takes months to do this. I really don't see it happening.

 

Either use mods which don't need it , buy SI or simply go without.
