Are custom vanity makeup interactions possible...?

Does anyone know if it is possible to add custom makeup to the vanity table menu? I'm very new to the whole modding thing, and while I'm sure this will be way beyond my abilities for a long time, I am just wondering if it is even possible, before I spend time pursuing something impossible haha. Ideally, way down the road, I'd like to be able to make interactions where you can apply individual makeup parts, but that may just be wishful thinking. Thank you
