Dark Follower Faces with Succubus Race

I'm using followers of the custom succubus race and replaced the skin textures. However, some of the followers' faces are darker than the rest of their skin tone, but the curious thing is darkness goes away when I change their weight through the setnpcweight command. The darkness also returns whenever I zone into a new area. Does anyone have any suggestions? Example of darkness on the left and the darkness going away after using setnpcweight.
