Children Animation Path conversion not working?

I wanted to use Children Animation Path https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58276/? from oldrim in SE, so I went ahead and attempted to convert it.

 

I put the esp in the creation kit and saved it to make it form 44.

 

I followed this guide here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2970/ to convert the animations.

 

However, I was not noticing children getting their own default animations.  Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?  I did notice that the .bsa file has hkk files, which I was not familiar with.  Could the conversion not be working right with the hkk file extension?

 

Or, if anyone has done this conversion before?
