Disabling Controller in options causes slow loading time

Hi everyone,

 

Today i noticed something very strange when i was messing around with my game options.

Since i don't use a controller/gamepad i thought i would disable that option under the gameplay section of the settings. (Same as changing bGamepadEnable from 1 to 0 in fallout4prefs.ini)

To my surprise the speed at which the game loads new areas had slowed down dramatically.

Loading into the main deck of the Prydwen changed from 11 seconds to a full 30 seconds.

 

Is anyone able to recreate this?

I have attached a save located near the main deck stairs for testing purposes.
