Some (or most) of the users of my mod found it impossible to start the quest "Shell of Eternity", so I'll explain

how to bypass it using console.

Quest stages:
setstage ankPalaceKeyQuest 0 [start up quest]
setstage ankPalaceKeyQuest 10 [Childe Roland gives your a book "Mound of Nahmaarzoor"]

• player.additem xx051C08 1 [gives you the book, read it to set the stage to 20]

setstage ankPalaceKeyQuest 20 [tells you to go to the dungeon added by this mod]
setstage ankPalaceKeyQuest 25/26/27/30/40 [all stages that you explore the dungeon]
setstage ankPalaceKeyQuest 50 [The journal found on the Mystic Guardian's body indicates that there's a secret

passage in the room. The switch is on the wall!]

• player.additem xx05216D 1 [gives you the journal, read it to set the stage to 50]

setstage ankPalaceKeyQuest 60/70 [find and kill the BOSS]
setstage ankPalaceKeyQuest 75 [tells you to get the key from the dead BOSS]

• player.additem xx04C9A2 1 [gives you the key and set the stage to 80]

setstage ankPalaceKeyQuest 80 [go back to ANK Castle with your key and enter the Throne Room]
setstage ankPalaceKeyQuest 90 [you've entered the Throne Room, and it's yours now. Ends the quest]

If you want to skip this quest entirely, you can use
player.additem xx04C9A2 1
to get the key and enter the Throne Room.

IMPORTANT:
Dovahkiin Hideout and Retreat are confliting with This MOD!
It'll make you unable to get to the door Darklight Tower where you must enter to get to Nahmaarzoor's Descent (the dungeon this MOD adds). The conflict won't let you climb the stairs leading to the tower!
Solution: When you get to the Darklight Tower,
1. Save, quit game, disable the hideout and retreat, enter game, enter tower, save, quit game, enable them, enter game, go on. This may not be a good idea, may cause you losing everything in the hideout, I'm not sure!
2. Use console command 'tcl' to turn off collision and get to the door, enter, use 'tcl' again, go on!

Good news everyone!
I believe I have fixed everything! The Quest, and Gray faces!
The Full Edition is now a esp now, no esm anymore.
It's uploaded to a Chinese server.
You must move everything of yours from the ANK Castle, and make a Clean Save. This must be done to update the fix!

Notice:
1. New Stand Alone Edition
This time, I'll add a version called "Stand Alone".
It is everything without custom armors and weapons.
It is most not likely to cause bugs.
And NPCs do not have Grey Face issues.
Be aware that this version is not compatible with the "Full Edition".

2. No Update Pack? WTF?!
It's probably the last version this time, so I think a full pack only is easier to maintain for everyone. It does not contain duplicate files.
Also, I was tired of uploading...I don't have a good Internet...

3. Final? What if there's bugs?
Well, then tell me about them. I'll see if I've got the time to fix them. I'm working on some other things now, living my life. Also, I might be getting started on another project by our team, which is likely gonna be the size of an offical DLC. So, file versions hereafter will only be something like 5.0.1, 5.0.2...

4. Childe Roland the Vampire's voice work is ready.
Actually, Turbosnowy here offered his help sometime ago, and made voice work for the 4th version.
But I though I'll just wait for the final version to come out, because the dialogue can very likely be changed.
One of my teammates is a Chinese living in Germany, and he just finished it.
This voice work is an addon for you to choose, whether you want it or not. Download link is at the bottom.

The ANK Castle is a huge... castle...
It has started as a shop where you could buy all the armors and weapons made or ported by Arrow & Knee MOD Team. But now it's more than that: a fully functional player's base in skyrim with style.

Entrance Section - ANK Flagship Store
The store opens from 8-20 o'clock game time, and it has equipments made by ANK MOD Team for sale.
The three guards are invincible, so if you do something illegal and get attached, please sheath your weapons immediately, and they'll stop attacking and try to arrest you. Else, you'll die in a matter of seconds, unless, of course, you use 'tgm'. Anyway, insulting the girls is not recommended.

Living Section
Shrines of the Nine Divines.
A cosy bedroom for you to rest. Can cook, store food and beverage.
A rich collection of plants, critters and fish in the garden. Alchemy lab with sorted storage.

The Gardener - Master of Alchemy, Apothecary
The Bard Lisatte - Sister of Lisette, the bard in Solitude, more stories to be added.

Arcane Section
First floor for Enchanting. Enchanting lab with sorted storage.
Second floor Library. Bookshelves for 300+ books, container for notes and scrolls. Weapon rack for staffs.
Master Trainers and Spell vendors for Alteration, Conjuration, Destruction, Enchanting and Illusion.
Childe Roland the Vampire to talk with. He'll be the one sending some quests for you players.

Tactic Section
First floor of the tower as Workshop, with blacksmith tools and sorted containers. A Blacksmith Master, for training and transactions.
Second floor as Trophy Room, with many mannequins, weapon racks and display cases. A Master Trainer of Heavy Armor.
Hall of War, for fun mostly. Master Trainer for Archery (also sells bows and arrows , Block, One-handed and Two-Handed.
Sanctuary. Master Trainers for Sneak, Light Armor, Lockpicking and Pickpocket (Fence for you after you join the Thieves' Guide by talking to Mercer). Two female victims for you.
Script experiment: The Ladder in Sanctuary can teleport you up and down together with your followers. Supports up to 10 followers.
p.s.: If you are too far away from your followers when you use the ladder, they might not follow, go back and wait for them to get close, then try again.

Throne Room
A jester, master trainer of Speechcraft
10 dragon claw racks. Arranged alphabetically.
10 dragon priest mask busts. Including the missing Wooden mask bust.
A Side Quest to find the key to the Throne Room.
About the quest - Shell of Eternity:
1. Get the quest from Childe Roland.
2. Follow the instructions, especially when you are in the dungeon.
3. Must be level 36 or above to enter the dungeon.
4. Prepare well. Lots of potions! Bring your follower, but remember to protect him or her. Equip your best gears!
5. No local map! Read the book Childe Roland gives you for a hand drawn map. And again, follow the instructions!
6. There are traps everywhere, and some aren't very visible.
7. If you don't want to wait until lvl36 or just find the dungeon too hard. Read the following:

Use cheat at your own risk: it might break this Quest, and might cause BUGs. I won't be held responsible for this.

╋╋╋╋╋╋╋ Before you install the MOD... ╋╋╋╋╋╋╋
1. File Structure:
The 'Full Edition' of this MOD contains the following three files only:
Ank_Castle_Main.esm
ank_castle_addon.esp
Ank_Castle_Main.bsa
2. To make a 'clean save'
if you are updating from an old version with the 'Full' Edition.
1)Taking everything of yours in the castle back, get out of the castle, save, e.g. 'outdoors';
2)Quit the game, uninstall the old version, launch the game, load 'outdoors', save again, e.g. 'outdoorsagain';
3)Quit game, install the new version, launch the game, load 'outdoorsagain', save, e.g. 'whatever';
4)Have fun!

╋╋╋╋╋╋╋ FAQ ╋╋╋╋╋╋╋
1. About CBBE body.
Not using CBBE body does not necessarily cause CTD, you can use UNP, or even some body with bouncing breasts.
But, if not using CBBE and you try to put on clothes we made for it, strange things will happen, and there might be CTDs.

2. About NPC faces.
Most Chinese players prefer Asian faces, if not Japanese lolis...
So, if you use the HD2.1 pack (or other face textures like Nidias, i'm using), NPCs will look just the way our 'Face Author' made them to be. If not, they'll look like crap.
Shit! NPC faces are black!
I tried everything, but couldn't solve it.
The Stand Alone Version does not have this issue. Only the "full Edition" does.
To kinda solve this, use console in game.
Press "~", then click on the NPC with black face, then type
setnpcweight 1
The should look no as black this time!

3. About disappearing NPC bodies and invisible clothes.
Q: It shows all the new item's names but when i wear them it just hides my body. Like it makes it disappear. What would be the cause of that?
A: Also, many of the NPCs inside will only have a head flying around.
That is because something is wrong with the .bsa file, which is the archive for our plugin. All of the custom models and textures are stored in .bsa files. In this case, it's Ank_Castle_Main.bsa.
So first you could check the file name, if the .bsa file's name in our pack is not correct, correct it. Or, the .bsa file may have been corrupted while downloading, try re-download it. If still not working, tell us!

4. About 'Invalid Format'.
The packing tool I used is made in China, and the format it creats may not be recognized by NMM. But it should unpack just fine. So, instead of installing by NMM, you can do a manual. There're only three files, and they start with 'Ank', so it should be as easy uninstalling.

5. About bugged armors.
Armors sold here are made by many different authors, and they have moved forward to other projects. Therefor, the bugged armors are probably not gonna be fixed. I'm sorry about this.

6. About some missing textures.
If there are any, tell me, and I'll try to fix it if I'm able to. Like the above says, they don't maintain them anymore. And I'm not a modeling guy.

7. What kind of a PC do I need to even enter ANK Castle?
If you can run the game without problem at Middle Setting, then I think you should be fine using this MOD. My PC is crap all right, but I haven't run into any trouble yet.
My PC has hardwares listed below, and my PC cost me only 3000(RMB, it's less than 460 USD):
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 920 2.8GHz (overclocked to 3.0GHz)
(also, it was tuned up from a AMD Athlon II X2 220 2.8GHz CPU)
GPU: ATI Readon HD 5750 with 512MB of memory
Memory: OCZ 1066MHz 2GB X2
I'm running the game at High Setting:
Resolution: 1440 X 900
Antialiasing: Off (not needed when FXAA is on)
Anistropic Filtering: 16X
FXAA: On
Detail: All High
View Distance: All High Enough.
I'm running the game at 60 FPS, with few to no stutters.

8. Can I use custom made high detailed textures together with ANK Castle?
Why not? But as always, anything no-vanilla has the posibility to conflict with one another, no matter it's in the form of a .esp plugin, or some replacement loose files.
So, if you experience low FPS or CTD after installing ANK Castle, please check if there is any conflicting Replacement MOD present. And if there is any, and you can't stand a low graphic setting, you should choose which one of the MODs you want to keep.
And as always, make sure your PC is capable of handling both ANK Castle (it has many HD textured armors) and your custom made HD textures, on a graphic setting you can stand.

thanks speedynl, I think it worked (the all in one download) but I have to clean up some of my other mods and try it again - CTD when I enter

 

ring of change has a chest near the rogues exit, maybe that interferes

running UFO, AP, wearable lanterns, children of the sky, new dragon species, baby dragons, convenient horses, lots and lots of clothes and armor mods, too many to list really, plus: better fish, better swimming, deadly combat, buildable house, scenic carriages, tundra defense, MD -EFCS, bigger trees, skybirds, wolf's recipes and occupy Skyrim. It's been load order frenzy lately

It seems all Rapidshare downloads and the Chinese ones are all down/removed and the the 5.0 multi pack one on mediafire has been removed. Maybe remove the ones that are not working and move the ones that work to the top as well as the 2 uploaded by speedynl so that they are right there at the top. Thank you speedynl for the links.

I found it in the original thread, in the read me for the 5.1 patch. I crash upon entry anyway so I guess it hardly matters.

I can try the torrent, I have TBBP installed and working correctly, even on my Lunari. It's a bit strange. I have 3 other houses all working correctly Leveler's Tower, Limbwood Manor, and Castle Orlok. I tried disabling them all and I still ctd. If I save in front, I can enter after a few ctds, walk around for about 15-20 min, then I ctd again. Hmm...your torrent seems to have a lot of stuff in it, what did you install? I'll try the same thing and see if it works.
