Is there a way to take a photo of a whole sim without a second sim involved?

I've tried going to a mirror and pressing take photo but the sim is not visible then, selfies are very limited in their radius, hence my question. Does anyone have a way of doing that? ( Important: I want the photos to be placeable in the world, like selfies are.)
